Meet Kaitlynn

Planner by experience. Builder by nature. Always thinking about what comes next.

My path into hospitality has always been rooted in both creativity and problem-solving. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from the University of North Texas, along with an event planning certificate, and went on to work as a venue coordinator managing dozens of weddings each year. That experience taught me quickly that successful events are rarely about one isolated detail—they depend on how the venue, vendors, timing, weather, logistics, design, and people all affect one another.

Today, I bring that perspective into every part of K&D Hospitality Services. I plan weddings and events, design and execute spaces, build and grow our rental collection, help clients plan travel experiences, and continue developing The K&D Method™—the planning approach behind both our professional services and the books, assessments, tools, and strategy sessions we create for people planning on their own.

I’m also someone who likes to build things—sometimes literally. From handcrafted wood centerpiece pieces and custom installations to developing planning systems from the ground up, I’m constantly looking for ways to make K&D more useful, more thoughtful, and more capable of bringing a client’s vision together in one place.

And I’m not finished building it. My long-term vision is to grow K&D’s design and rental collection into a dedicated space where clients can meet, see mockups, and experience their ideas before event day—with the ultimate goal of creating a K&D venue of our own.

For me, K&D isn’t just about planning the next event. It’s about building a hospitality company that can support the entire experience—from the first idea to the final memory.
